Ki

Ki grew up in east London, to an English dad and Trinidadian mother and is a busy bee these days, filling their time with filming, radio shows, and dancing the night away. Ki identifies as a transmasculine nonbinary intersex human and says that “Understanding that biological sex isn't binary truly opened my worldview as a young queer person who didn't feel like they fit in and encouraged me to live and thrive outside binary societal expectations.”

When asked about a recent moment of gender joy, this is what they said: “After breaking up with my ex-partner I had to move in with my parents for a while. I acquired my first Both& piece in the time I was living with them, the Finnegan T-Shirt in white which soon became a staple in my wardrobe. I wore it under a suit to an event, pulling off that classic smart-casual vibe with a pair of Converse on my feet which truly made me feel like a boy, and I remember my mum saying I looked very handsome or what a handsome son she had, something of that ilk. I had never felt so empowered by my clothes.”

To quote Grace Petrie, “No you won’t grow out of it, you will find the clothes that fit.”
